A connect group for people with infertility
and involuntary childlessness
So much of our culture is designed to celebrate and support people with children. But hidden in the shadows is another group of people, often ostracized and misunderstood; those who are childless not-by-choice. Studies have shown that infertility and involuntary childlessness is one of the most painful and isolating experiences in a person’s life. Some research even states that people with infertility experience the same levels of stress, anxiety, and depression as someone battling cancer. And yet, support is rarely available to them. We hope to change that.
This group is for anyone who has longed for a child, but due to infertility or other life circumstances finds themselves facing a future without children. We want to gather with others on this road and build a support network of encouragement. This will start as a relaxed, informal dinner gathering with other people on this journey.
Currently we are gauging general interest/need. If this is something you would like to be part of, please reach out via the email below, and Michael and Natalie will make sure you’re in the loop. First dinner will likely be later in October.
